Today’s show started with my thoughts in Morocco, which suffered an Earthquake in the Northeast just the day before. Also on the show a terrific recording by the Molinari quartet who took their name from Canadian artist Guido Molinari, with whom they performed many audio-visual collaborations, and who died this week. The bulk of the second half of the show was taken up by Brave Old World and their stunning “Blood Oranges suite”. A recording we haven’t heard on my show in a long while, and I am very happy to say the album is available now in Canada (it wasn’t when it came out).
